I both love and loathe how much language has changed just since I was a kid:

‘rubber‘ meant eraser
‘ass‘ meant donkey
‘gay‘ meant happy
‘straight ‘meant linear
‘making out‘ meant ‘logical detection’
‘cock‘ meant rooster
‘pussy‘ meant cat
‘stag‘ meant a male deer
‘prick‘ meant a jab
‘poke‘ meant a nudge
‘chick‘ meant a baby hen
‘screw‘ meant a carpenter’s implement
and a ‘Tit‘ was always for ‘Tat’!
… it is a bit astonishing how it’s all evolved. Is that evolution good or bad? uf010517

I’m not really sure, still a bit on the fence about it all. It is amusing to watch it play out over the past two decades though!
