About Me:

Beginning my journey in the late 2000s, I dabbled in just about everything word-related—music and concert reviews, travel writing, and the occasional rant disguised as an article. Eventually, fiction lured me in for good.

Over the years, I’ve written for several Indian comic publishers and, in that fabled year of 2012, founded Meta Desi Comics—a creator-owned publishing label powered by equal parts love, caffeine, and chaos.

Compelled by an incurable imagination, I write short and long-form fiction and doodle often—so often that my creativity decided to sprout its own alter ego: One Happy Monk (O.H.M.) – The name nods to both the meditative chant I grew up with and a scientific principle that keeps the universe (and my brain) from short-circuiting.

My mind tends to wander, though it usually returns with stories worth telling. I live for tales, laughter, and the small joys that make life delightfully absurd. As Groucho Marx wisely said, “Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn’t arrived yet. I have just one day, and I’m going to be happy in it.”

So, if you’re up for wandering through strange worlds, curious musings, or a chat about the oddities of existence—pull up a metaphorical (or literal) drink and join me.

Cheers!
